SAFETY PROTOCOLS: OVERAL HOTEL MEASURES


  • We offer a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols against Covid19 as instructed by the Greek government
  • Hospitality Hygiene & Occupational Safety Course
    We have received extra training on issues of health and safety that also cover protection measures and good practices against Covid 19 by Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the world’s best hospitality & leisure management school
  • A vaccination against Covid19 has been received by the majority of our personnel (over 80%) that protects against the spread of Sars Cov 2
  • Rapid Self Tests tracing Covid19 are conducted to all of our personnel at least once a week and a record of their results is kept in the hotel’s archives. Self tests are also abvailable for guests as an optional service
  • We offer all of our personnel adequate supplies of surgical masks
    All of our personnel is trained on how to use and dispose face masks
    We also offer the optional service of face masks for guests
  • We offer hand satination stations that are clearly marked throughout the public facilities of our hotel
  • Our personnel’s temperatures are monitored as an extra precaution in our effort to safeguard a healthy environment
  • All personnel wear face masks and all necessary PPE equipment

SAFETY PROTOCOLS: UPON ARRIVAL


  • Arrival times are scalable to ensure social distancing protocols and avoid large crowds at the same time. Check-in time could reach 3.00 p.m. and check out is scheduled by 11:00 a.m.
  • Our Reception has a high-performance automatic air purifier used to clean indoor air environments from airborne allergens, viruses, and particles as small as 0.3 microns without producing harmful ozone. It cleans indoor air with a 4-stage filtration including a True HEPA filter (99, 97%). Tested and certified.
  • Our Reception maintains contastant ventilation via inclined windows and open doors. natural ventilation is also supplemented by the use of air fans
  • Plexiglass shield protection is used in our front office area το enhance safe communication and transactions
  • Room cards and keys are sanitised with a UV disinfection box and then placed directly on the counter or a plastic bag to avoid physical contact
  • We have an app for online check in – balance check – check out request. We upgraded our systems in order to minimize time spent in the reception area and minimize physical contact with objects.
  • Safety signs are in place – that specify maximum room capacity per public area and social distancing stickers are located on the floor for maintaining safe distances between guests.

 

SAFETY PROTOCOLS: HOUSEKEEPING


  • Rigorous two step cleaning and disinfection housekeeping practices have been put in place to throrougly clean your room with appropriate disinfectants
  • High attention given to frequently touched areas e.g. light switches, door handles, remote controls etc, are disinfected
    regularly and cleaned with a disinefction products and clean color coded microfibre cloths
  • We only use professional and certified cleaning products supplied by global class leaders and we follow specific indicated cleaning programs as offered by our collaboration with experts of Diversey
  • Specialized and reliable cleaning and disinfection equipment
    We have steam cleaners & cleaning equipment with antimicrobial filters HEPA from brands reknown for the high quality of products
  • Towels and Linen are used with great precautions and the are washed using specific temperatures and detergents to eliminate the possibility of contamination. Specific cleaning programs have been developed in collaboration with Diversey.
  • Washing machines are inspected and checked by authorized technicians that certify the correct operation and that the desired temperatures are reached
  • Special protocols are followed in case of a Covid case traced in the perimices of the hotel. We have special routines and enhanced disinfection detergents to undetake the proper decontamination of the room. Moreover we have dedicated PPE equipment and seperate laundry bags to isolate the linen of the infected room.

 

SAFETY PROTOCOLS: BREAKFAST & POOL BAR


  • Our food & beverage practices are HACCP certified that ensures a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product
  • Our food & beverage handlers are certified by the Hellenic Food Authority EFET these programs aim at quality assurance, the production of safe products and consumer protection in accordance with Regulation 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on food hygiene
  • Safety distances are maintained across all seated areas and tables and furniture to establish a safe environment for our guests
  • Plexiglass shield protection is used in our bar and breakfast areas tο enhance safe communication and transactions

  • The buffet is served by an assigned member of staff that wears PPE and safe distances are kept during all stages of food being served
